Charity Overview
The Art of Elysium is a Los Angeles-based charity that pairs volunteer artists with individuals facing emotional and physical challenges. Its mission is to bring consistent, high-quality creative experiences to communities often excluded from the arts such as those in hospitals, shelters and transitional housing. Each month, the charity delivers over 110 tailored programmes, serving more than 30,000 people annually. Over 2,500 volunteer artists participate each year, not only leading workshops but also receiving support through networking events, and showcases. Programmes are designed to foster emotional resilience, communication, and a sense of belonging. The charity continues to grow, aiming to expand peer-led programmes, increase public showcases, and build its artist network to meet rising demand.

Project Summary
With ICAP Charity Day 2025 support, The Art of Elysium delivered 223 multidisciplinary arts workshops across Los Angeles, reaching 2,904 individuals facing trauma, illness, or isolation. Our funding enabled artist coordination, materials, and showcases creative expression in hospitals, shelters, senior centres, and transitional housing programmes.
Thanks to ICAP Charity Day, we were able to bring professional artists, quality materials, and a welcoming space for self-expression to hundreds of people who might not otherwise have access to the arts. The joy, confidence, and connection we witness each week simply wouldn’t be possible without this support.Anna Rodgers
