Charity Overview
The POLG Foundation’s mission is to support and accelerate research to find effective treatments and a cure for PolG mitochondrial disorders. This non-profit entity is pioneering a visionary and innovative approach to treating and curing PolG mitochondrial diseases. The Foundation is recognised as the leading funder of basic, translational, and clinical PolG research. Working with the global scientific community, it invests in developing critical tools and provides grant funding to investigators of PolG mitochondrial disorders around the globe for basic science, clinical trial research, and the development of novel therapies for PolG mitochondrial disorders in both paediatric and adult PolG patients.
