Funding from ICAP Charity Day will support Aftercare, which provides ongoing support for young people aged 12–25 following residential rehabilitation for drug and alcohol addiction. Delivered by dedicated youth workers, the programme helps them stay connected, set goals and build independence. With personalised guidance, Aftercare empowers young people to maintain recovery, navigate challenges and create brighter futures.

Charity Overview

Sir David Martin Foundation helps young people in crisis, continuing the vision of former NSW Governor Sir David Martin. Founded by Lady Martin, they have raised over $80 million since 1990 to support treatment for youth drug and alcohol addiction. Guided by Sir David’s belief in “safety, hope and opportunity”, the Martin family continues his legacy of giving young people the chance to rebuild their lives. As the major philanthropic partner of Mission Australia, they fund holistic, youth-specific alcohol and other drug programmes for 16 - 25 year olds, including Residential Withdrawal and Aftercare programmes.
