A donation from ICAP Charity Day will support ten-week stays where the children are surrounded by adults who teach them healthy living - both physically and mentally - with the overall aim of building up their self-esteem and providing them with the tools to continue the positive progress when they get back home.

Charity Overview

Julemærkefonden is a charity that operates Christmas Seal Homes, which are funded by income from the sale of the annual Christmas seals (a decorative stamp sold during the holiday season), reprints of older editions of Christmas seals, as well as contributions from associations, companies, and individuals.

Each year, 750 boys and girls benefit from a 10 week stay at one of the four Christmas Seal Homes, located in beautiful surroundings in Skælskør, Ølsted, Hobro and Kollund. These boys and girls arrive bearing serious scars from experiences such as bullying, struggles related to body image, and feelings of low self-esteem.
