Charity Overview
Geylang East Home for the Aged (GEHA) is a non-profit organisation established in 1978, dedicated to caring for community seniors and seniors without family or financial support. Fully managed by volunteers, GEHA operates a sheltered home that provides accommodation, meals, and daily support for vulnerable elderly people who can still live semi-independently. Beyond meeting basic needs, GEHA strives to nurture dignity, connection, and purpose through meaningful activities and emotional care. Today, GEHA is reimagining sheltered living, transforming the home from an institutional shelter into a warm, assisted-living–style community where seniors can age in place with belonging, joy, and hope.
