Funding from ICAP Charity will enable the opening of a new playroom in another public hospital in Mexico, thereby expanding its reach to benefit more children with cancer. This additional space is designed to provide emotional relief, cognitive stimulation, and moments of joy during treatment, ultimately enhancing the overall hospital experience and strengthening the emotional resilience of young patients.

Charity Overview

Since 2006, Fundación Mark has been devoted to fulfilling its mission of creating spaces of joy and recreation for children and adolescents with cancer throughout their treatment, strengthening their emotional well-being. It is the first and only foundation in Mexico providing comprehensive cognitive, social, and emotional support during oncology treatment. Its vision is to be recognised as the leading institution offering the highest quality emotional care to the paediatric oncology community within Mexico’s public health sector hospitals, ensuring that every child facing cancer feels supported, empowered, and accompanied through every step of their journey.
