Funding from ICAP Charity Day will support the The Athlete Leadership Programme, which is an opportunity to showcase athletes’ talents and interests (away from the sports field), acquiring new roles and responsibilities (through training and learning new skills) – aiding both personal and professional growth.

Special Olympics GB is the country’s largest provider of year-round sports participation in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities. They create engaging, competitive and inclusive programmes, which empower, increase confidence, help to realise potential, improve health and mental wellbeing – instilling pride, gaining respect, driving ambition.
