The funds raised on ICAP Charity Day will enable the three beneficiary charities of the 2017 Lord Mayor's Appeal to continue their valuable work by providing opportunities for young people by actively engaging them in music-making, teaching them new skills and improving the health and wellbeing of those in healthcare, by running live music sessions.

Charity Overview

For many decades, The Lord Mayor’s Appeal has raised millions of pounds for numerous charities and good causes. The Appeal’s purpose is to create a Better City for All with the people of London, its neighbouring communities, businesses, employees and their families, supporting the charities and the initiatives it delivers.

With a motto ‘Educate Support Inspire’ the 2017 Appeal, led by The Rt Hon The Lord Mayor Alderman Dr Andrew Parmley, The Lord Mayor’s Appeal is supporting three wonderful music charities; the LSO Discovery programme, St Paul’s Cathedral Music Outreach and Music in Hospitals.
