Charity Overview
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in Denmark, with around 4,800 newly diagnosed cases each year. Every day, three women will sadly die of the condition.
The Danish Cancer Society is the largest disease-fighting organisation in Denmark. The charity has more than 460,000 members and works in three different fields:
• Cancer prevention
• Advising and supporting cancer patients and their relatives
• Cancer research
