A donation from ICAP Charity Day will support WSP's partnership with top colleges and universities across the country. WSP hosts one and two week college-preparatory academic boot camps for enlisted veterans and transitioning service members. Sessions are intensive (75+ hours required/week), offered in three disciplines (Humanities, STEM, and Business & Entrepreneurship), and described by alumni as “life changing.”

Charity Overview

Every year, 115,000 veterans transition from the military to higher education. Many face barriers to enrolling in a college degree program, including lack of awareness regarding their options and little confidence in their ability to succeed in a higher education setting. Warrior-Scholar Project empowers enlisted veterans and service members by providing them with: a skill bridge that enables a successful transition to the classroom by making them informed consumers of higher education and increasing their confidence to apply to and complete degree programs at top-tier institutions, and support throughout their pursuit of higher education and into the workforce.
