A donation from ICAP will support the School Goodie Bag Programme, a monthly distribution of essential food items from schools to families of students receiving financial assistance. Each bag comprises rice, cooking oil, canned food, milk, eggs, oats etc and is suitable for young families and growing children.

Charity Overview

Food from the Heart (FFTH) is a charity founded in 2003 by Singapore-based Austrian couple, Henry and Christine Laimer, who were inspired to channel surplus food from bakeries to families in need, after they read an article about bread wastage. Today, FFTH is one of Singapore's foremost independent food charity with IPC status devoted to alleviating hunger through efficient distribution of food in a sustainable manner.

FFTH helps thousands of lives annually by garnering support from sponsors, donors and volunteers to fight hunger through its five programmes: Bread Run, Community Food Pack, Project Belanja!, School Goodie Bag, and Market Place.
