A donation from ICAP will support the maintenance of the guest rooms, including linens, which get replaced regularly. Providing food for families during their stay is another top priority and cost for the house. Additional projects for 2022-23 include a simple grilling station/outdoor kitchen; enhancing the outdoors.

Charity Overview

The Rocky Mountain Regional VA Fisher House is a sixteen suite "home away from home" that provides a place for families to stay, free of charge, while their loved one is inpatient at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center or other VA authorized facilities. The house provides all the comforts of home to include a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and ADA compliant guest suites. In addition, the house supports guests with meals and a fully stocked kitchen, so our guests can focus on bedside care. For some, accommodations may be many weeks or months.
