Batyr is a preventative mental health charity, created by young people, for young people. Their programmes break down the stigma surrounding mental health, empowering young people to reach out for support, engaging and educating them on how to lead mentally healthy lives, while creating more connected and resilient communities.
They address “the elephant in the room”, mental health, in a unique and relatable way. Through the sharing of personal experiences and journeys to help-seeking.
Since 2011, batyr has trained over 800 speakers to share their stories, reaching over 250,000 young people with positive messages of hope, recovery and resilience.
