Established in 1947, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Singapore (SPCA) aims to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals.

The SPCA relies mainly on kind donations to provide various animal welfare services to the community. These include:

• Animal cruelty and welfare investigations

• 24-hour emergency animal rescue

• A shelter for sick and injured animals, and abandoned and unwanted pets

• Veterinary care and surgeries for community animals

• Education programmes, talks, seminars and workshops

• Advocacy for animals

• Volunteer opportunities to enhance corporate and community engagement
