Charity Overview

Redfern Jarjum College (Jarjum) was established in 2011, and first opened to students in 2013. The College provides Kindergarten to Year 6 specialised schooling for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who are not attending or coping in mainstream primary schools.

Their aims are to alleviate the social, emotional, behavioural and health disadvantages of our students so that they can return to mainstream schooling either at the end of primary school, or earlier if it is deemed appropriate for the individual child, family and target school.
