Charity Overview
Ronald McDonald House Charities Austrlia (RMHC) are an independent charity that supports families travelling long distances for the treatment of their child’s serious illness or injury.
RMHC operates three core programmes across Australia, these include:
- Accommodation- 18 houses adjacent to hospitals within Australia help to provide families with a ease of access for daily hospital visits
- Family Rooms- 19 family rooms within hospital wards to provide services for the whole family
- National Learning Programme- helping to cover the gap in education suffered during the treatment of the child’s illness
